Creating Model By-Laws for Wind Projects (Energy in the 21st Century Webinar Series) 11/2

Among the typical challenges municipalities face as they explore wind projects is the need to address permitting and zoning issues. Towns often need to create new or modify existing by-laws to regulate these types of projects. This webinar will offer guidance on this process and discuss different by-law examples. It will also point out resources that towns can access to assist with by-law development.

Cost: There is no cost to participate but registration is required. Audience: Municipal officials and staff, members of local boards who work on energy-related issues.

It’s a fascinating film about visionary architect Mike Reynolds’ quest to build energy-independent houses out of society’s debris; tires, beer cans, and water bottles. For 30 years he and his followers have devoted their time to advancing the art of "Earthship Biotecture" by building self-sufficient, off-the-grid communities where design and function converge in eco-harmony. An 8-week study group is being formed and is open for FREE to all who are interested - 2 hours/week for 8 weeks - with some times being worked around vacations. So far meeting time preference is for Sunday afternoon: 4:30-6:30pm in Amesbury, MA.

World-renowned biotech Michael Reynolds will be speaking 11/18
